Your profile, password & calendar
Everyone on your team has their own SURGE login and their own profile. Your profile holds your name, contact details, password, email signature and — most importantly — your calendar connection.
Updating your details and password
Section titled “Updating your details and password”Open Settings at the bottom of the left-hand menu, then My Profile. You can also get there by clicking your initials in the top-right corner.
From here you can change your name, email, phone number, password and email signature. Save each section as you go.
You can also choose which notifications you get — for example, an alert when a new lead arrives or when someone replies.
Step-by-step guideChoosing which notifications you getConnecting your calendar
Section titled “Connecting your calendar”Connect your Google calendar so that:
- appointments people book through SURGE appear in the calendar you already use, and
- SURGE won’t let anyone book you when you’re already busy.
Each person on your team connects their own calendar, from their own profile. We can’t do it for you, because it needs your Google sign-in.
There are two settings, and it matters which is which:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Connected calendar | Where new bookings are written. Usually your main work calendar |
| Conflict calendars | Calendars SURGE checks for clashes, but never writes to. Add your personal one here |
