Forms

Forms are how leads get into SURGE. When someone fills in your enquiry form, SURGE creates a contact, adds a card to New Lead, records that the lead came from your website, and starts their follow-up. You’ll find your forms under Sites → Forms.

What not to change

Caution

Please don’t rename, remove or reorder the fields on your enquiry form. Each field is mapped to a place in the contact record, and your automations rely on it. A field that’s been renamed or removed can mean leads arrive with missing details — or don’t trigger follow-up at all.

If you’d like to ask leads an extra question, tell us and we’ll add it properly.

Putting the form on your own website

You can put your SURGE form on your existing website using its embed code, so enquiries from your own site land in your pipeline too.

Tell us when you do, so we can check leads from your website arrive correctly and are labelled as website leads rather than Facebook leads.

Building a new form

You can build new forms for other purposes — a feedback survey, an event RSVP. Forms you build yourself aren’t connected to your pipeline automations. If you want a new form to feed leads into your pipeline, ask us to connect it.
